Adam Duckett, DO

Dr. Duckett has worked for East Hill for 10 years. He is board certified in family medicine. After Auburn High School, he graduated from Le Moyne College in Syracuse, NY, before earning his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England in 2007. Besides being a long-term provider at East Hill, Dr. Duckett serves as the Chief Medical Officer for EHMC.
Adult Medicine
Ute is a Family Nurse practitioner who graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University more than 10 years ago. Before working in primary care at East Hill, she worked for a skilled nursing facility. She also has eight years as a registered nurse in a hospital setting, including intensive care, and experience with individual counseling as well as family therapy. .
Adult Medicine
Michelle has worked for East Hill's Adult Medicine office for three year as a certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She first worked in a regional hospital. She served as a registered nurse, working in both hospital settings and primary care setting. At East Hill, she providers a combination of acute sick visits, preventive care and chronic condition maintenance.

A Cayuga County native, Christina is excited to build rapport with her patients, and aims to build on her years of experience in orthopedics while providing primary care.
Duckett Family Medicine
Keith earned his Master of Science from Upstate Medical University, completing his training at East Hill Medical Center before being hired as a Family Nurse Practitioner. He also had an internship at Golisano Children's Hospital in Syracuse. He worked as a Registered nurse for Albany Medical Center. Before working in the medical field, Keith worked in leadership roles in not-for-profits, including the Senior Services of Albany, Cohoes Multi-Service Senior Citizens Center and Capital District Gay & Lesbian Community Council. He earned his Master of Public Health from SUNY Albany..

Janet has four decades of working as a nurse practitioner, having been trained at the Community General Hospital in Syracuse. She provides many reproductive services for East Hill patients, having worked for several Planned Parenthood offices for decades before joining the team at East Hill's primary care office.

Daniel Gabriel, MD

Dr. Gabriel Dr. Gabriel has worked at Summit Pediatrics since 2019. Since his residency in Manhattan in the mid-1990s, he’s found joy in watch children grow and following them as they become adults. He enjoys working with families and giving assurances to newer parents about what they can expect. Dr. Gabriel is fluent in French, but picked up some “medical Spanish” when he was working in a Manhattan hospital after graduating from a university in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. Besides Manhattan, he’s spent his career working throughout New York; including in the Southern Tier (Hornell), Utica and Albany-area before joining East Hill.
Summit Pediatrics
Dr. Manu-Boateng, pronounced BWA-ting, has been with the organization for a year, launching our Reach Out and Read project in our pediatric office. Growing up in the Canadian province of New Brunswick on the East Coast, Dr. Manu-Boateng became interested in medicine as a child. She always enjoyed being around children, and knew she wanted to be a pediatrician after reading a book about a young girl with diabetes.
Dr. Manu-Boateng went to medical school in Grenada, which included clinical rotations in Brooklyn, NY. She completed her pediatric residency training in Illinois and later worked in Maine.

Lindsay graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University, becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2015. She worked as a travel practitioner and in a hospital setting. Before that, she was a certified Registered Nurse, graduating from university of Northern Colorado. She was a professional nurse working at SUNY Upstate Golisano and University Hospital.
Summit Pediatrics
Dr. Veronica is a board certified pediatrician who enjoys working collaboratively with families and focusing on preventative care. She especially loves to discuss nutrition and care for children with special health care needs. Dr. Veronica attended the University of Buffalo for medical school then headed out west to the University of Utah for her pediatric residency. After completing residency, she worked at the University of Utah as an attending physician for 10 years. In 2021 Dr. Veronica moved back to New York when she started with Summit Pediatrics. For fun, Dr. Veronica loves to spend time with her family and three huskies. She enjoys gardening, learning about winemaking and is an Ironman triathlete as well as a die-hard Bills fan.

Katrina Garrigan

Katrina works in both our pediatric and adult medicine offices as a Board-Certified Physician Assistant with a focus on the mental health field. She has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Keuka College and a Master’s Degree from Le Moyne College, where she graduated from the Physician Assistant program with honors in 2017. She provides consultation, diagnostic evaluation, brief psychotherapy and pharmacotherapy services to patients.
Jessica has lead talk therapy at East Hill for a year, building a positive reputation for its social work program. She also serves as a teacher in areas colleges.
She also has a background in meaningful eating. She leads several groups throughout the year, and is open to topic suggestions from the community.

Dr. Riaz Syed
Psychiatrist
Dr. Riaz Syed is a board certified, licensed psychiatrist with more than four decades of experience as a mental health professional.
He works with adults and adolescents, and serves as a support for the entire behavioral health team.

Trish has served as a counselor for nearly six months here at East Hill, pulling from her decade of experience in other offices. Her style is oriented around action plans. She also has training in trauma-informed care.

Dr. Deborah Nina
Dental Director

Dr. Nina graduated from New York University in 2001 with her Doctorate in Dental Surgery. She completed a one-year residency at Interfaith Medicine Medical Center in Brooklyn and eventually expanded into cosmetic dentistry and implants. As a bilingual professional and the department director, Dr. Nina believes that good communication is paramount to establishing strong provider-patient relationships. Her patients are her top priority.
Graduated from Broome Community College in 2009, Ashely joined East Hill as her first dental hygiene job out of school. She is known for putting her patients at ease. She enjoys seeing her long-time patients that she has developed relationships with over the years.
She has an 11-year-old son and a cat named Caper. Outside of work, she likes to go camping, hiking and the occasional snowboarding with her son.

Dr. Gonzalez started his medical career as a physician assistant before changing careers and becoming a dentist. He went to the University of Puerto Rico Medical Science Campus before his General Practice Dental Residency at the New York Medical College School of Medicine. He worked for the Open Door Family Medical Centers in Brewster, NY before working in the Auburn community health centers.
Samantha is a hygienist in the office, as well as worked in the schools for our school-based dental program. She worked for a private practice before joining the team.
